Hello, wonderful supporters! Today wrapped up our 30 day Kickstarter Campaign. In the end we raised $12,410 - that's 82% of the funding we needed. Sadly, Kickstarter is all or nothing. The Moonstruck could only be funded if it reached 100% of our goal by today (Mon, February 13 2023) at 3:45 PM EST. We were so very close to everything coming together. With that being said, we did certainly get enough pledges to fully produce one episode, which could work as a proof of concept to drum up more support in the future and get the other four produced. If you would like to help produce the first proof of concept episode, I am able to accept donations via https://ko-fi.com/tanyawheelock to put towards it, though I fully understand if you were only interested in pledging towards the full 5 episode run. In the same vein as our Kickstarter campaign rewards, any donations over $100 will get you a SPECIAL THANKS in the credits of Episode 1. Donations over $1,000 will get you a PRODUCER credit! Our Story: A Kickstarter Preview

The Moonstruck is a Short Form Audio Drama Series - 1 season with a story broken down into 5 episodes, approximately 30 minutes in length.
Save their daughter. Save their marriage. Save the world. But we need your help! With creative endeavors dating back to 2009, Chimerical Lotus Co. was officially founded by Tanya Wheelock in 2017 - with the mission of collaborating to create art and tell stories for audiences all over the world. Our award-winning team enjoys honing in on the strengths of those around us to make the best product we can. Like a lotus flower, we rise above struggles and obstacles to bloom and thrive.
The Moonstruck will showcase a diverse and talented cast bringing each character to life for your listening pleasure. The original script drafts were written in 2019 before a global pandemic changed the world as we knew it. Will Phillips and Tanya Wheelock worked together (with collaboration from Kari Yovetich) to create something truly special and fun. A focus group largely found the characters relatable and interesting with a plot that was different, clear, intriguing, and enjoyable! A military power couple suddenly finds themselves at the center of a lunar phenomenon turning ordinary people into zombies and must work together to save the world, their daughter, and their marriage. We are fundraising for production costs, including VO recording, SFX Design, Music, and Mastering through Sound Cadence Studios. All of our actors are volunteering their time and talents to bring this story to life, but if we reach beyond our goals, we hope to be able to pay them as well!
