SYNOPSIS:​

• When it comes to her love life, Emily just can’t seem to catch a break. Emily is a well-meaning editor in a Publishing firm. She’s adept at her at her job, but a bit hopeless in affairs of the heart. While out to lunch with friends, she bumps into Mary, an attractive woman from her yoga studio. The two find themselves in an awkward flirtation. But Emily is clueless as ever and she nearly entirely misses all the signals that: she was flirting with her.
  
  

CHARACTER BREAKDOWN:

• KAREN: (SUPPORTING) Age 23-33.
  Ethnicity: (African American/ Asian/ Indian/ Latina / Middle Eastern Preferred – but any race welcome to apply)
  The rye and dry best friend of Emily. Smart. She gives her friend a lot of sass when she notices a woman overtly flirting with her, seemingly go completely over Emily’s head. Good comedic timing a must.
